Woodward Financial Advisors, Inc. along with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps are teaming up to host RV4TheCause by sponsoring a free eductional session entitled “Estate and Financial Planning for Clients with Chronic Illness” presented by Martin Shenkman CPA, MBA, PFS, JD. The event will take place on Monday, March 28, 2011.
Martin Shenkman is a nationally renowned estate planning attorney and is the author of over 34 tax and legal books. In 2006, Martin’s wife, Patti Klein, MD, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The experience led him to write three books and many articles on planning for chronic illness.
What’s more, Martin and Patti now travel across the country in an Airstream RV (to ease the challenges of travel for Patti) providing free advice to professionals on how to advise clients living with chronic diseases.
The event will be held at The Siena Hotel, 1505 E. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill. Registration and lunch will begin at 12:00 noon and the session will be held from 12:30 – 1:30 PM.
